Ersin Arıoğlu, Founding Partner of NEKAŞ- Nitelikli Eğitim Kurumları A.Ş. and Irmak Schools. Arıoğlu was a very valuable manager, educator and idealist person who devoted his life to science and education. In his speech at the opening ceremony of Irmak Schools in 1995, he addressed the guests as follows:

“We all sense and know that the Earth is on the threshold of a brand-new civilization. The most important element for this new civilization is now “knowledge and the speed of production of knowledge”. It has been understood that creating a cleaner world, more peace and more human happiness can only be achieved with more information that axis people. Soon, countries will be respected in proportion to their contributions to world knowledge and will be able to obtain the right to live happily at this rate. Our beautiful Turkey, which says “peace at home, peace in the world”, is in the pangs of integration with the modern world within the principles of pluralist democracy. Turkish National Education strives to raise people who are good citizens, original thinkers, adopting national cultural values - cultural identity and profession, with all its might and to the extent of its possibilities.

However, the inadequacies observed in the teaching staff, physical space, equipment, education program, textbooks and family-school cooperation negatively affect the quality of our National Education. Besides, the changing world conditions and the qualities of the new civilization that is coming make the human profile targeted by our National Education insufficient. Developing communication skills of new generations in the first steps of their education; It is necessary to learn to work and produce as a team. The new generation must be adept at problem solving, self-expression, using tools, and planning new tools. We, as IRMAK, believe that every human being is a unique being and is born equipped with the abilities of “surviving – earning – developing”. The teaching of the great Atatürk is a light for us on this subject. Atatürk says, “The method to be applied in education and training is to turn knowledge into a practical and possible tool that ensures success in material life, rather than being an ornament, a tool of domination or a civilized pleasure.”

For these reasons and principles; in IRMAK Primary Education Institution, great importance will be attached to knowledge that does not require memorization, the production of new information, problem solving methods, the qualities of the new world civilization, contributions to these qualities, exports, art, competition, human happiness, sports and self-expression. The aim of our institution is to serve the Turkish National Education by raising “happy and strong Turkish youth who are skilled in earning and improving their lives, responsible for their society and age”.

We commemorate Dr. Ersin Arıoğlu with gratitude and love for his contribution to our school and our country.
