Irmak High School Graduation Ceremony: Celebrating the Class of 2026
The Irmak High School 22nd Graduation Ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 10, with great excitement and pride. Marking a significant milestone in our students’ academic, social, and personal development journey, this special occasion became an unforgettable moment as they stepped confidently toward their future goals.
Hosted by our High School Principal, Ms. Selin Kebelioğlu, the program began with the traditional flag and banner handover ceremony, symbolizing the transfer of values and responsibilities from past generations to the future.
The ceremony continued with awards recognizing students’ academic achievements and exemplary work. The 2025–2026 Dr. Ersin Arıoğlu Award was presented to Emir Alexander Atabek, the top academic achiever and valedictorian of the graduating class. Mehmet Kuzey Yoleri, who achieved a significant milestone by receiving an offer from a highly ranked global university according to the URAP world rankings, was honored with the Köksal Anadol Award.
Within the scope of the Irmak Schools Department Awards, based on academic excellence and outstanding performance, the Turkish Language and Literature Award was given to Ekinsu Kılıç, the Mathematics and Science Award to Emir Alexander Atabek, the English Award to Can Kuzey Güner, the Social Sciences Award to Ege Demirkol, and the Information Technologies Award to Burak Ekmen.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of commemorative diplomas and the traditional cap-throwing celebration, marking the successful completion of our students’ high school journey. Our graduates now move forward with the knowledge, experiences, and values they have gained throughout their years at school.
