Teachers’ Day at Irmak: A Celebration of Dedication and Appreciation

On Thursday, November 20, our school hosted a special ceremony to honor teachers and administrative staff who have completed 10, 15, and 20 years of service. Held in celebration of Teachers’ Day, the event reflected the unity, appreciation, and shared values of the Irmak community.
The ceremony began with an inspiring speech by our General Director, Mr. Metin Yoleri, who highlighted the transformative power of teaching. Emphasizing that teachers have the ability to “bring life even to the most barren soil,” he expressed his deep gratitude to all educators who shape the future of Irmak with devotion and heart.
Following his remarks, our Chairwoman of the Board and Founding Representative, Ms. Ülkü Arıoğlu, delivered an emotional speech underscoring the lasting impact of the teaching profession and warmly extended her Teachers’ Day wishes to our entire faculty.
After the screening of “Those Who Live at Irmak,” a touching video composed of meaningful moments from our school community, the plaque ceremony began. Teachers and staff who have contributed to Irmak’s growth over many years were invited to the stage to receive their tokens of appreciation.
The ceremony concluded with a delightful mini-concert performed by our music department teachers and joined by faculty members. The special selection of songs added warmth and joy to this meaningful celebration.
We wholeheartedly congratulate all our devoted teachers on this special day. Thank you for your dedication, your inspiration, and the lives you touch every day.
